Two former Thai boxers are competing in the inaugural International Yoga Certification and have won a place in the prestigious international competition.
Yogadang Dutong, 38, is competing in a total of four tournaments in Thailand and is expected to be the first Thai fighter to take part in the competition.
The other three-time world champion, Pranav Bhakta, who competed in four tournaments with Thailand’s national governing body, won a spot in the top three of the competition last year, the Boxing Association of Thailand said.
The two former Olympians also competed in the world championships last year in Beijing and earned bronze medals.
The first International Yoga Training Center was established in China in 1996 and opened in Japan in 2003.
